George Stephanopoulos Lists D.C. Mansion

George Stephanopoulos Lists D.C. MansionGeorge Stephanopoulos may be just a mere wisp of a man, but at home he's living large. The political commentator and his comedian/actress wife, Ali Wentworth, recently put their grand, Georgetown mansion on the market for $6.3 million.

On the prime block of 31st Street, Stephanopoulos' brick mansion looks like a small liberal arts university from the outside. And it gets even better inside.
Inside you get an amazing 5,652 square feet -- which sadly could fit seven of my apartments -- along with 5 bedrooms and 6.5 bathrooms.

Stephanopoulos' Colonial Revival home was featured in Elle Decor several years ago. The couple hired interior designer Elizabeth Martin to punch it up with an eye-popping color screams throughout the house. But even if you don't love the orange and fuschia pops the Stephanopoulos family favors, who wouldn't like the 11-foot ceilings, crown molding and other great bones of this Georgetown home for sale.

Politico reported that Stephanopoulos plans to stay in D.C. and commute to New York for his new job with "Good Morning America." Guess he's really a politician at heart.
