Apartment Earth: Turn Your Old Jewel Cases into Photo Frames

Now that you're buying all your music online... what to do with those leftover CD jewel cases, none of which are marked for recycling?

Answer? Turn them into photo frames you can arrange in groups. Re-Nest explains how below.

Just crop your photos down to 5 3/8 x 4 5/8, back them with a same size piece of cardboard and attach to the wall. We like the idea of using velcro; we can take down the cases to change the photos. We also like them in multiples; hang them in a grid, as shown here, line them up or let them lean in a picture railing.
Hit the Re-Nest link; it includes a how-to video and full instructions. They suggest hanging the arrangement with velcro. Need help hanging your photos? Click here for easy picture hanging instructions.

Photos framed with old CD cases are a modern take on a classic design of hanging vintage frames in bold groups.
