It was kind of small, with one bedroom. I've found another nearby condo I want that has room for guests and while it's not as close to the ballpark, it's still within walking distance and is closer to the Embarcadero and all that it has to offer.
It's near South Beach, in the Rincon Hill neighborhood that is bordered by the Embarcadero, Yerba Buena Center for the Arts, the financial district, and South Beach.
The two-bedroom, two-bath condo at 301 Main St. in San Francisco is in The Infinity, a complex of four buildings -- two mid-rise towers of nine and eight stories, and two high-rise towers of 42 and 37 stories. Condo No. 16E has views of the city, bay and the Bay Bridge, making the $999,000 price tag easier to digest.
The Infinity's all-glass exterior and round and undulating corners make it one of the most unique buildings in San Francisco. It's easy to spot (and easy to find your way home after a few drinks at the game).
The condo has 1,182 square feet. Some of the building amenities include 24 hour security, concierge, air conditioning for all units, 75-foot-long pool, 5,000-square-foot gym, club lounge and business center.
The average sale price of homes in the area is $631,000. The unit requires monthly homeowner dues of $725.96.
For all the money it costs, the nearby farmer's market at the Ferry Plaza on the Embarcadero may make buying vegetables and cooking at home look a lot more affordable than eating out.
