Singer Josh Groban Asking $6.1 Million for Malibu Villa

Less than two years ago, Josh Groban spoke of his Malibu, Calif. villa to InStyle.com, "I bought this house with the idea that I'd grow into it." But the 29-year-old superstar singer hasn't given himself much time to age as he recently listed his beloved Tuscan-style mansion for $6.1 million.

In 2005, the multi-platinum performer, who was then just 24 years old, bought the 4-bedroom manse on 1.8 acres for $4.1 million. The highlights of the nearly 3,500-square-foot pad include a wood-paneled media room (where a remote drops large screens from the bookshelf), a one-bedroom guest house outfitted with a recording studio, a pool adorned with a waterfall, a spa-tub for two, poolside shower, lighted tennis courts and rights to private beach access.

So, is he finally heading off for the bright lights of the eastern seaboard?
While Groban also owns a Beverly Hills condo, which he acquired for $900K in 2003, he's been long-rumored to be considering a move to New York City. But neither a relocation nor a purchase in New York has been confirmed. However, Groban, as far back as 2008, has been seen house hunting in Manhattan, according to a New York Post report.

Hey, Josh, does your piece of artwork, which says "I love L.A.," hanging above your head at your carefree Malibu beach retreat mean nothing?
