Jessica Alba's Proposal: Rent Her Home

Actress Jessica Alba is trying to lease out her 3,035-square-foot Beverly Hills home for $8,950 a month. The three-bedroom multi-level home owned by the Dark Angel is being offered fully furnished, which means you better have a thing for Balinese-style living.

Any takers for this thing of beauty?

The rental, we mean.

The home features dark hardwood floors, a light-filled living room with double-height windows and ceilings, a screening room that could be converted into an additional bedroom, and a large family/game room. The master suite has a large walk-in closet and spa-like bathroom.
Alba is known for not regarding the local paparazzo as her BFFs and gives a liberal tongue-lashing to those who invade her space when she is out and about. Can't rightly say I blame her, but for a woman regularly voted

Alba was No. 5 on AskMen.com's list of most desirable women in 2010 and played a genetically enhanced guy magnet on the TV show "Dark Angel."

The exterior of the house? Less to gawk at, but lovely nonetheless.

The property is listed by Jonah Wilson of Sotheby's International Realty, Sunset Strip office.

I'm impressed. Thats a lovely, comfortable living space. Pretty awesome actually, not what I expected. Really unique. Nice job Jessica. Nice bathroom too! This won't take long to rent. Even at that price.

The outside does not compare to the gorgeous interior. I'm not a modern kitchen fan but it is pretty. Love the dark wood floors. Many people will pay for the impressive view.

Well, yes, this is California... location location location. By the way, Las Vegas is also a LOCATION a destination city, and you could get so much more for $8000 pm with view of the strip in a party town.

Lotta windowns, ordinary furniture, and as far as the stairsteps going upstairs, nothing much out of the ordinary. I wouldn't pay $8,000 plus a month to rent it! Glad I'm not looking in that area.I've seen much better and for less.

location location location.
By the way, Las Vegas is also a LOCATION
a destination city, and you could get so much more
for $8000 pm with view of the STRIP in a PARTY TOWN.

Y'know, funny thing . .

You can clearly see the address of 1369 Summitridge Drive in one of the photos. And the house pictured on Zillow.com matches those realty photos.

However Zillow lists the house as 2,286 square feet - not the 3,035 that the realtor listed.

Further, the house's current value is estimated at $1,204,500 which means an estimated monthly mortgage payment would be $4,636 to OWN THE PLACE.

So . . 9 grand a month just to sit on a celebrity toilet may be a bit excessive . . . just sayin' . . .

Not at all what I expected. The house looks old and tired. However, the views are great. I think I'll stay where I am.

It is a Beverly Hills location with a spectacular view.They will easily get the asking rent price. Rent is expensive everywhere here in Calif. The house looks nice except the staircase is cheap looking and that green counter top in the bathroom has to go.

She is so full of herself thinking she can get that much in RENT for that shabby place. Looks like the furniture came from garage sales and World Market. The staircases are rickety and the decor is dated. Wow.
