Selling a home isn't getting any easier. But in Salem, Mass., the historical home of 17th century witch hunts, the process has taken a ghoulish turn.In Salem, and some other communities around the country, buyers are increasingly turning to witches, pyschics and feng shui experts to purge foreclosed properties of evil spirits before taking the homeownership plunge, according to the Wall Street Journal. Home prices in Salem have dropped as much as a third over the past two years, spooking home sellers, as well, as their would-be saviors.
Over the centuries, many homeowners have sought to chase demons from their abodes, but one of Salem's current practitioners was eager to tout the real-life value of her services. She said, "Unlike psychics, witches know you can change the future."
