Cee-Lo Rents in Hollywood Hills for $10K a Month

cee loThe usually-Atlanta-based singer Cee-Lo Green, whose most recent hit "Forget You" has been everywhere from Glee to the Grammys, is taking up residence in Los Angeles while he stars as one of the judges in NBC's new talent competition, The Voice.

The Hollywood Hills home he's renting for $10,000 a month is owned by Frankie Muniz, the child star who played the title character in Malcolm in the Middle. Twenty-five-year-old Muniz bought the home in 2006, the year the show ended, for $3.499 million and has been renting it out ever since.

So what's he getting?
The 4,200-square-foot home has 5 bedrooms and 4 baths and is listed with Sotheby's for $3.195 million, although, according to Zillow.com, it's been taken off the market. Muniz first put it on the market in 2007 for $3.875 and has had it on and off ever since with several price cuts. Zillow gives it a $2.8 million estimate so the high asking price could be why it hasn't sold.

The gated home just above the Sunset Strip is filled with somewhat bland furnishings but it's well appointed with extras like a big kitchen island, nice refinished bathrooms and a stunning outdoor pool area with stone pavers and an arbor.

Maybe if The Voice takes off Cee-Lo will the buy the house from Muniz.
