Before Madonna spoke the Queen's English, back when she use'ta tawk like dis on the mean streets of Detroit, her Madgesty lived in this humble Rochester Hills, Mich., home. And for the rock-bottom price of $48,600, you can own this four-bedroom slice of pop history.Unfortunately, the years have not been kind to the Queen of Pop's childhood home. The Ciccone family sold the home more than a decade ago for $270,000, according to Zillow. Since then, the property has changed hands more often than a used copy of "Sex." The home was auctioned on eBay in 2001 for $331,000, then flipped at a loss in 2004, sold again in 2005, and in 2008, a suspicious fire wreaked havoc on the interior, reports Curbed. (See photos below.)
The home has sat idle, charred and dilapidated, for the past three years. Unsurprisingly, the current price tag is remarkably low for the area, where the median home value fluctuates around $173,000, according to Zillow. But if you're up for a real fixer-upper with a star-studded past, it doesn't get any cheaper than this once-quaint colonial-style home. Get it while it's hot!
