Michael Bloomberg Mansion: Exclusive First Pix

bloomberg mansion

Last week, we reported that New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg dropped $20 million--pocket change for Hizzoner -- on a 35-acre estate in the Long Island town of Tuckahoe. Now the intrepid crew at Southampton Patch brings us the first aerial photos of the 11-bedroom estate, known as Ballyshear, which sits hard by the National Golf Links of America, where the mayor can indulge in his favorite sport.

For more photos, see Southampton Patch.

Bloomy is a good guy. He would probably be a good president.

When a politician says that they, "...will not accept a wage..." do we common folks really believe that there is NO compensation being exchanged! The CEO of corporations do not accept a "wage". Only hourly workers receive a "wage". Individuals like MB receive "trust funds"; deferred annuities; bonuses; incentives, or whatever else the rich call monitary gratification.

So, NYC? This is the guy that represents you? Yeah, right, he has as much in common with you as you do a cockroach.

Ah -I see...based on your comment - pleople who have made a lot of money cannot possibly understand the needs of people who may or may not have money! Mr Bloomberg is a self made man - he made all his own money (while working in NYC) and understands a great deal more than you. He has been a great MaYOR AND nyc HAS BEEN VERY LUCKY TO HAVE HIM.

Isn't he lucky that as mayor that he can take a helecopter to work and won't have to subject his driver to all of that nasty traffic on the Lomg Island Expressway. Maybe he'll let Gov. Crisco of NJ use it to attend his kid's ballgame so he won't get in any more trouble using the one that belongs to the NJSP. Keep voting Republican you morons so we can see more of these neat pictures (taken from long distance of course). Of course he feels your pain, just ask him!!!!

Sorry - the Mayor lives in Gracie Mansion in NYC - this will most probably be his weekend summer home. He also has several of his own aircraft and his own pilot - he is a straight forward guy who is not looking to use public funds for his own gain.
Yeah - the democrats are doing a bang up job! Keep em in - tax and spend baby... who cares about paying the defecit! But if you do - I would seriously recommend you start taking CHINESE - as they will eventually own EVERYTHING in the US!

It's written somewhere that the "poor will always be with us". that goes for the super-rich as well, folks. just sit back and enjoy the pretty picture.

Well this certainly confirms that MB understands the needs of the common man struggling from paycheck to paycheck, if he has a job and is not living on the streets! The only consolation is that when his republican friends cause the US to default he has a lot more to lose!!!!

And as Mayor of New York, he obviously is "in touch" with the common man.
