Miley Cyrus Spends $3.9 Million on Studio City Home

Miley Cyrus house

Disney star and Queen of Teen Pop Miley Cyrus just bought herself a nifty 5,173-square-foot Studio City house, spending $3.9 million. Ah, to be young and rich and be able to move real estate around like chess pieces.

The mid-century style house that she just added to the collection was built in 1952 and occupies a lot of 1.15 acres -- all walled and gated. The home in the Los Angeles neighborhood is listed with five bedrooms and seven bathrooms, but that likely includes an attached guest suite. The main house has a large master suite with a sitting room and fireplace, a spa bathroom with steam shower, walk-in closets and a wall of windows that open to a view patio. Just don't expect to be able to see anything from the street. (But the video below offers a look inside.)

There is a double-sided fireplace that connects the dining room and family room and sliding glass doors in the dining room that lead to a deck and covered patio.

Cyrus, who is all of 19 and best known for her role as the title character in the Disney Channel's "Hannah Montana," already owns a compound in nearby Toluca Lake, Calif., that she purchased in 2007 for about $5.8 million. She also reportedly bought and sold homes in Florida within the past year.

What recession?

The house might be o.k., but the photo presentation of it doesn't make it all that much. The decoration is rather average to cold - appears to be staged for the purpose of selling. Really, the house isn't bad, but the decor leaves much to be desired.......unfortunately Miley Cyrus doesn't have much taste - look for pink shag rugs and lava lamps, and lots of "cutesy" animals on the leopard print bedspreads.

Damn -- for 4 million I'd expect a helluva lot more. This looks like 1950s -- from one of those science fiction B-movies or something. Where is the basement and there is no upstairs or deck?? This looks like an extended track house and all that was done is a furniture, fixture and appliance upgrade. This is ugly with no warmth at all. She would've been better off buying in Santa Monica -- you can get a better looking, duplex type home and be close to the Ocean. Studio City of overrated!!!

Her career has really slowed down. Doubt she could fill a large venue anymore. Her former fans are following Selena Gomez, Demi Lovato, Taylor Swift, Justin Beiber, etc. now. Pre teens are very fickle as she is finding out with her current low CD sales. She should be saving her money and looking into job training for another career. She could have bought a cheaper home and that is what her financial advisors should have recommended.

i like the furniture- it's modern and fun. an interesting choice for a 19-year-old, but if she wants to buy a house, that's her call. i'm sure she hates being compared to selena, but selena spends her time and money helping children in africa...
