House Of The Day: Role-Play Prez in White House Lookalike

Moguls, titans and magnates, this is your big chance to role-play the guy even higher up the totem pole than you: President of the United States. I mean, check out the entrance vista: the $58.5 million home looks like a near-replica of the White House.

Located in old-money saturated Water Mill, N.Y., the home beckons you inside its 20,000 square feet with massive, two-story columns and more white than the body of Moby Dick. The interior is tantalizingly ornate and includes a foyer that leads visitors up two cast bronze and silver symmetrical staircases bathed in light through a stained-glass skylight overhead. The house's rear opens to an infinity pool and tennis court, accessible through a grand outdoor staircase evocative of another Presidential structure: the Lincoln Memorial.

I buy almost everything except food and clothing from online auctions.

Most people aren't aware of the almost unbelievable deals that they
can get from online auction sites....

and I checked with the Better Business Bureau and was told that it is
all legit. How they can sell gift cards, laptops, cameras, and all
kinds of goodies that we all want for 50-90% off, I don't know. I do
know that I bought my son an iPad there for less than $100 and my
husband a $250 Loews gift cards for $48.

Why would I even think about shopping anyplace else?

Federal Elected Officials

The best cure for our Country is for all of us to insist on term limits for ALL Federal Elected Officials. The term limit should be one four or five year term with a maximum of TWO TERMS. ALSO, no fringe benefits, insurance, or any other type of gratuity should continue after they leave office. The pay for ANY elected official should be equal to that of the average civilian with similar duties within the state he/she represents, plus 10%. Any elected official that reaches the age of 75 while holding office shall NOT be eligible for re-election. The only exception would be for the one who serves as President of the United States. That office would be given lifetime insurance for them and their spouse only, plus a monthly Social Security retirement, regardless of the number of terms served, or their age at completion of same, comparable to anyone else with that size of income. There would never be a raise given to any Elected Official since there wages would be tied into the general economic standards of living. In addition, ALL states, and Territories, within this union, should be encouraged to do the same with all State Elected Officials. One exception, would be that the Governor of any State or Territory would be treated the same as all other State Representatives, that is NOTHING in the way of fringe benefits would be paid to them after there term(s) of office.

Judges and Appointees

All Appointed Judges and other Appointees, shall be appointed for the duration of the elected official that appointed them. Supreme Court Judges, shall be appointed for LIFE or until age 75 at which time they will be required to step down. No one may be appointed to an office after the age of seventy-four and one half years of age. All appointees will follow the time line of the elected official that appoints them. If any elected official leaves office before the end of their term due to scandal, corruption, impeachment, or death, all of their appointments would have to step down, except that of Supreme Court Judges.

wtf. I needed to hear about this crap after getting off my second court date for child support. I was a fkn corporal in the USMC, combat unit. I've been paying child suppt. and alimony. Now, I make 8.5 a fkn hr. And the law can't help me? I'm not sorry, but I appreciate anyone that hears me.

People who buy online are either desparate or fools. BEFORE the quarum unleases their fury, I am talking about BIG, VERY EXPENSIVE items, not tube socks, okay......... Stretching a paycheck today is like trying to expand air. I just got signed up to UI benefits at a whopping $115.00 a week. Jack and Jill went up the hill, came down with a pile of POOOOH........

This does not look like the White House in Washington, DC... The roof kinda looks the same. The front of the house kinda looks like the rear of the White House but not enough to fool someone with normal eye sight.
