I'm starting to think that Matthew Perry either has too much time on his hands or too many mortgages starting to strangle him.
The actor just listed yet-another of his Los Angeles
properties, this one in the Hollywood Hills. The midcentury modern home
sits on a cul de sac and came on the market this week at $5.695 million. Two weeks ago, Perry -- best known for his role in "Friends" -- put his 3,677-square-foot ocean-view Malibu home
on the market at $13.5 million.
In July, he listed his 22nd-floor Sierra Towers condo in West Hollywood for $2,995,000. That's a lot of real estate to dump on the market in what is, without argument, the crappiest sellers' market since the dinosaurs roamed.
Perry did close escrow in August on an $8.65 million house, also in the Hollywood Hills (see below), so we're not thinking he's broke or anything close. Still, it's a curious state of affairs and we'll be glued to the tabloids to sort it all out for us.
In the meantime, the 411 on the newest Perry home to hit the market -- which, for those who wondered about it, is the place where he actually parks his bedroom slippers: It's a gated two-story with three bedrooms in 4,100 square feet. He bought it in 2008, paying $4.475 million, according to property records. The home has a pool, spa, outdoor fireplace and dining terraces.
Greg Holcomb of Partners Trust, Beverly Hills, has all of Perry's listings.
