Has anyone ever tried to get a home mortgage from Bank of America, I have and know of many others, They do not know what they are doing. They will come back with so many questions , that is answered on the app.Nothing will be done locally. What should take 30 days will take 6 months or longer. What is up with the fannie Mae thing? It is a way to try to collect and sell your mortgage with no interference with anyone. They also give out your information to so many sites. I asked and they said that they have that right as do others. Will never use them again. I even took out my savings. found that money was being taken out and they could not explain. $300 a month. i made not transaction for 45 days. When i went in and showed them, they could not answer and never got back with me.

To me it looks like the "pot calling the kettle black", BOA is certainly not the all American company but Fannie Mae and Freddy Mac are as bad or worse. But it is time to kill off both Freddy and Fannie and to hold BAC for illegal business practices. It might be difficult if the winning president has no place to give political plum jobs to $ supporters but it would help the rest of us tax payers.

yardman, it's all the other banks doing this too, just not BOA.I have filled out 5 loan modifications, and it's still not enough and as a result even got another $2 fee added to my regular monthly payment, it keeps going up every month, they will sneak some kind of fee in, the trouble is we cannot do a damn thing about it, justice is not on our side.

Get out of the banks. Join a credit union. Banks are a rip off.

I will go to a credit union next week, Thanks Elaine. But my credit is not so good either so they may decline me but won't hurt to try. We have 3 credit unions so I will try all 3. All they can say is no. Let's all pray we can win a lottery or a windfall of some kind to give us relief. If we all do it together we'll succeed. God bless us who are in a mortgage and that we won't lose our homes, and may we overcome the big giant like David did, bless us Lord in your holy name. Amen Let't all say this prayer everyday it sure won't hurt and see in the next few weeks what happens. There is light at the end of the tunnel I truly believe that. I know of a few people here who have been foreclosed on and it was truly a blessing for them, they went forward instead. So positive can come out of the worst situations. Let's just not get down and out.

Watch the spin here. Is it B of A dumping Fannie, or is it Fannie not allowing B of A to use them for a dumping ground until they take back the bad loans they delivered to Fannie. This sounds like a PR move to me.

BANK of AMERICA HATERS CLUB :
If you despise the B of A like i do, then do what hurts them the most and QUIT ! Nothing hurts them more than you moving your business to a CREDIT UNION ! Tell them you are fed up with their business practices and your moving to a Frendly Credit Union where they don't screw you every way possible. When they started "CHARGING ME " for services i didn't use, that was enough. Just say "NO" to B of A and make THEM PAY !

Is it time for the Government to take away the mortgage industry from the large Banks and create an entity, to originate and manage the current and future mortgages until they rid the current business of the corrupt people running the industry. and then divide and sell it on the open market. Just think, they may be able to use the profit to fund the shortfalls in social security or medicare.

At least the government would not allow bold face lies to help Wall Street executives reap huge bonuses and continue to add to the Banks profit margins. With proper regulation it could be a way of raising needed funds for social security while providing borrowers with a housing solution that I think most can live with.
