What can you get for $100 million? How about an Airbus A320 Neo commercial airliner, the annual expenditures of the Republic of Palau, all the jewelry sold on the Home Shopping Network in a year or two tons of gold? If none of those interest you, there's always this triplex penthouse in New York City -- the Big Apple's most expensive listing.
The enormous gem is shaped like an octagon, and all three floors have wraparound terraces 73 to 75 stories above Manhattan with insane 360-degree views of the city. However, it should be noted that the building going up next door (which has a $90 million penthouse) is already partly blocking this home's "still-spectacular" views of Central Park, according to the New York Times.
The 8,000-square-foot home also features six bedrooms and nine bathrooms. Because of its unique octagonal design, the space has 135 windows, so you won't miss the view from any room (save for one or two of the bathrooms).
The master suite takes up the entire 75th floor and has a bathroom with hunter green marble, mahogany finishes and bronze fixtures.
As a bonus, there's a guest apartment on the 72nd floor of the building with a 400-square-foot bedroom, a bathroom, a kitchenette and a wine cellar that holds up to 1,000 bottles. (Who's ready to party?!)
If you ever want to leave your place, the building features a fitness center with a 50-foot pool, a doorman and a garage (nothing to scoff at in NYC). And all of this is just blocks from Central Park, Fifth Avenue's famed shopping, and some of the best restaurants the city has to offer.
Raphael De Niro and Victoria Logvinsky of Prudential Douglas Elliman Real Estate have the listing.
