Turns out that he was top of the heap, alright! The infamous, glass-walled "Birdcage" where Sinatra entertained, slept and recorded his songs was literally built on the roof of the luxury co-op building at 530 East 72nd Street in Manhattan. When we popped in for a visit, our jaws dropped looking at the 360-degree view. See for yourself in the video above!
