The first person to break the news that LeAnn Rimes and Eddie Cibrian bought a new home? Cibrian's ex-wife and "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Brandi Glanville, who tweeted about the couple's new "mansion" in early January. Rimes didn't respond on Twitter, but it turns out Glanville was right about the purchase. The Los Angeles Times reports that Rimes and Cibrian bought a new home in Hidden Hills, Calif., for $3 million in late December 2012.

The $3 million price tag represents quite a deal for the couple. According to property records, the home was a short sale, first listed on the MLS for $6.195 million in 2009 and marketed at $4.2 million right before the home went off the market. The Spanish-style estate was built in 2005 and measures 8,642 square feet with eight bedrooms and six baths.

Typical of most California estates, the home embraces indoor-outdoor living, with full windows, French doors leading to patios and plenty of outdoor seating. The 2-acre property also includes a pool and detached guesthouse, but don't expect Glanville to be staying over anytime soon. Glanville and Cibrian divorced in 2009; soon after, Cibrian and Rimes married, leaving no love lost between the pair. Rimes previously shared an estate in Nashville with ex-husband Dean Sheremet. After a few years on the market, the home finally sold for a loss last March.
