Country music's current "it" couple, Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert, have long been proud of owning a home in Oklahoma, where Blake is from, and quietly added to their real estate stable by buying a large house near Nashville last summer. Lambert told "Taste of Country" that while the two live in Oklahoma full-time, they "wanted to like, kinda put roots down, because we're always going to be in Nashville."

The two already own a condo in the country music capital, but their new digs in the Nashville neighborhood of Brentwood is a significant upgrade. According to property records, the two spent $2,258,000 on the 11,079-square-foot home, which sits on nearly an acre bordering the 15th green of The Governors Club golf course, designed as an Arnold Palmer Signature Course.

Built in 2001, the home was completely outfitted with high-end finishes, and professionally decorated shortly before it was listed for sale in March 2013 for $2,799,000. Shelton and Lambert bought the home in July. The house has five bedrooms, eight baths, two offices -- including one with a full bar -- as well as a pool and plenty of patio space.

It's hard to say how much time Lambert and Shelton will be spending in Nashville. The two also lease homes in Los Angeles while Shelton films NBC's show "The Voice."
