CNN anchor Anderson Cooper is selling the second and third of his three adjacent waterfront properties in The Hamptons.

The silver-haired newsman listed 12 Saint George Pl in Quogue for $2.699 million earlier this summer and has since dropped the price to $2.599 million. Around the same time, he listed the mansion next door at 20 Saint George Pl as a rental, asking $65,000 for the month of July and $75,000 for August.

Now both properties are for sale. The latter, which Cooper has owned since 2003, is listed for $3.599 million. It includes a third, smaller lot off the water, 16 Saint George Pl, according to listing agent Enzo Morabito of Douglas Elliman Real Estate.

Cooper's newest listing is a shake-sided 3,800-square-foot waterfront cottage built in 1928 as a sports club for an estate nearby. It has been completely renovated with stone fireplaces, a designer kitchen, decks and, if you need to keep up on a 24-hour news cycle, Wi-Fi indoors and out.

The property includes a small island that is visible from the back of the house.

The two homes are similar, with the same kitchen paint and hardware and similar design style. But each has its own pool and waterfront beach.

He couldn't survive in my neighborhood. Caviar and vodka are my burger and soda.

I'd bet that's all from inheritance and not from his TV job(s). His mother was after all Gloria Vanderbilt...which has me completely puzzled...he was around gorgeous women all his life and he wound being gay. That's FUBAR.
A few words from The Dice Man seem fitting.

He can easily afford those solely on his TV jobs.

There must not be enough gay men there for him. He should hook up with Ina Garten,. She knows every gay man in the Hamptons and she can cook.

He is also a Vanderbilt (mother: Gloria). Ever heard of the Biltmore Estate in Asheville, NC? The Vanderbilts own and operate it to this day.
