Actress Cheryl Hines married Robert F. Kennedy Jr. on Saturday at a star-studded wedding on Cape Cod. So it makes sense that the newlywed is looking to unload her Cape Cod-style home in Los Angeles.

The five-bedroom, four-bath home at 1221 Roberto Lane is pending sale after just 10 days on the market. Hines bought it in 2010, just after her divorce from Paul Young. The private, traditional home in upper Bel-Air has an open floor plan, exposed wood-beamed ceilings and great views of the city and canyon from the deck.

The comedic actress, who starred in the quirky HBO show "Curb Your Enthusiasm," met Kennedy, an environmental lawyer and nephew of the former president, through her co-star Larry David. The couple dated for several years before marrying at the Kennedy compound in Massachusetts.

Her Bel-Air home was listed at $2.995 million.

She paid $2.35 million in 2010, shortly before parting with the Brentwood estate she owned with her former husband at a reduced price.

$2,995,000.00 and no tennis court, and no heli pad ? What a rip off . That view of the scrub brush is well less than breath taking. You get a house, a small pool, and two patio tables with two umbrellas (abou $995,000.00 worth). What do you get for the $2 million more ?

The address. Remember: location, location, location. For the same price you could get a massive house, a pool, tennis court, a small air-strip and several hundred acres where I live. But it's not Bel-air.

Why is anything a Kennedy (or Kennedy-in-law) considered newsworthy? Family members of other former USA Presidents are allowed to live their lives privately with no media attention whatsoever. Oh but wait! This is an actress in trying to keep her career alive and in need of publicity and probably has a good press agent. ☺.

Other than money, why would anyone marry a Kennedy?

My parents' first house, purchased in 57, is under contract, though they moved from it years ago.

Hello Dear!!

So-o-o- what are the juicy details??? My folks sold our home in Manhattan Beach in 1959 for about 20,000
dollars and it is valued at 2.4 million!! Same house, same square footage. That is an insane mortgage payment, I say.
