Marking another chapter in the saga of Terrel Owens' real estate woes, the former NFL star reportedly faces foreclosure on a condo that he owns in the Trump International Resort of Sunny Isles Beach, Fla.

Deutsche Bank is attempting to foreclose on the unit, GossipExtra reports. The wide receiver, who raked in over $80 million during his controversial National Football League career, took out a $1.4 million loan in 2006 to buy the unit, then priced at $1.75 million. Owens, who was released from the Dallas Cowboys following his repeated clashes with teammates, is no stranger to mortgage trouble. In the past two years the mercurial athlete has had to swallow four disappointing real estate hand-offs. Two of the football star's Dallas properties succumbed to foreclosure early this year. While one of the units sold at a sheriff's sale, Owens managed to offload another just before its auction date, The Dallas Morning News reports.

Prior to those transactions, Owens sold another Dallas condo in a short sale for close to a $1 million loss, and in 2010, he reportedly cut loose a Moorestown, N.J., property for less than half of the $3.9 million he paid for it.

As of February, his Atlanta home is still sitting on the market, GQ reported.

Owens' Florida unit has seen its value nosedive since the housing boom, plummeting from a purchase price of $1.75 million to $960,000 in assessed value, according to a recent appraisal of the property, GossipExtra reports. The home's severe decline in value is typical of real estate in Florida, a state which perhaps has suffered more in lost property value than any other in recent years.

The North Carolina estate that provides the setting for season eight of "The Bachelorette" -- currently airing on ABC -- is on the market for $5.89 million, significantly higher than its pre-broadcast price.

According to Zillow.com, the six-bedroom, 8½-bath house in Charlotte "is a European-style mansion with stucco and stone exteriors," boasting 12,000 square feet of living space. Its deluxe features include "a two-inch think marble floor that runs from the home's entrance down its main hallway."

But the home's love affair with marble goes even deeper than that. "There are beautiful houses all over," said listing agent Nick Peters of Peters and Associates, "but this one has an official grand ballroom with a 20-foot-high fireplace made of solid marble. The room also has gold-glazed mahogany trim, silk window treatments and gorgeous lighting."

Outside, the 5-acre property features a sweeping lawn ("big enough to land a helicopter," Zillow reports), a slate courtyard, and a saltwater pool with mosaic-tiled waterfall.

Built in 2006, the home was listed for $3.9 million before "The Bachelorette" came to town (for only its second season outside of Los Angeles; the third season filmed in New York). It went on the market in 2006 priced at $7.89 million, before several discounts.

The sellers are obviously hoping that the house's new, high profile will help. Nick Peters certainly thinks so: "You can't really showcase a house with photos," he explained. "I'll bring in a professional photographer, but the way that it shows on TV ... it's breathtaking. You can't get that from a photo shoot."

After months of rumors and speculation, it's official: Justin Bieber paid $6.5 million for the mansion he recently bought in Calabasas, outside the city of Los Angeles, according to the Los Angeles Times.

The 10,000-square-foot house sits on 1.3 acres and has seven bedrooms, a pool and a wine cellar -- just what every 18-year-old needs.

Edwin Catmull, president of Walt Disney Animation Studios and of Pixar Animation Studios, is selling his Georgian Colonial estate near San Francisco. This "Incredible" 8,864-square-foot home in the community of Kentfield, Calif., sits on 2/3-acre, fully fenced lot and was completely rebuilt in 2000 by architect Steve Wisenbaker.

The home makes full use of the entire lot, boasting a large lounging platform, a meditation gazebo, a level lawn area, a dog run and a cabana room. You could probably "Find Nemo" in the 1,000-square-foot pool with an attached 40-foot waterslide. There is plenty of room for "Cars," too. An underground two-car garage helps maximize the lot space, and guests can easily find room in the above-ground, seven-car auto court. Some other luxuries include a fully equipped gym with views of Mt. Tamalpais, a library with built-in bookshelves and an audio-visual system, and a pool room with half-bath.

The "Ratatouille" approved open kitchen has state of the art appliances, zinc slab countertops, an island with a vegetable sink and drawer refrigerators, a large walk-in pantry, and features a rare Charvet Caumartin Range Stove. Don't be surprised if you find a "Wall-E" trash compactor in there somewhere.

This house is clearly a Pixar-lover's dream, and can be yours for $10.9 million.

The film emperor may be striking back. For 25 years, filmmaker George Lucas tried to persuade his Marin County, Calif., neighbors to let him build a digital production studio on his ranch there, but the area's residents thwarted the plan.

So Lucas has come up with an alternative for his Grady Ranch property: To build low-income housing on it.

In a letter posted online, Lucasfilm wrote, "It is with great sadness that Skywalker Properties has decided to pull its application to build a studio facility.

Instead, the maker of some of the biggest box office successes of all time, including the "Star Wars" and "Indiana Jones" franchises, intends to sell the property to the Marin Community Foundation (MCF), a nonprofit that has already funded more than 2,500 units of affordable housing and will explore options for developing Grady Ranch.

Lucas had applied to the county planning commission for permits to build a 260,000 square-foot compound that would be used as a digital media production studio. The company claimed that the facilities would create about 600 high-paying jobs.

"The level of bitterness and anger expressed by the homeowners in Lucas Valley has convinced us that, even if we were to spend more time and acquire the necessary approvals, we would not be able to maintain a constructive relationship with our neighbors," Lucasfilm said in its statement.

Opposition to the plan has come mainly from residents of nearby homes represented by the Lucas Valley Estates Homeowners Association, and from real estate developer Thomas Monahan, who owns a big property next to the Grady Ranch. The association did not respond to a request for comment and Monahan declined to comment.

The homeowners objected to several aspects of the project, according to Mary Feller, a member of a nearby homeowners association who attended many of the planning commission meetings. Among the concerns were traffic, noise and an outdoor stage that would be lit until 11:00 p.m.

Feller said that the Marin Conservation League also raised environmental objections, particularly when it came to plans for the disposal of dirt and rocks that would be excavated for the project. The conservation league did not respond to a request for comment.

Not all of Lucas Valley's residents were voting against the filmmaker, however. "The loss of that project is a major blow to the community," said Dale Miller, an area resident. "It would have provided a lot of jobs."

Land to build on in the Lucas Valley area -- which was named after a 19th century rancher, not the 20th century filmmaker -- is rare thanks to strict "smart growth" policies that limits the building of new homes. These policies encourage building in higher density areas while keeping undeveloped land open. As a result, much of Marin has been set aside for parks and recreational areas.

With the housing supply artificially compressed, home prices are high there. The median home price has hovered around $700,000 lately, according to Fred Silverman, a spokesman for the MCF.

"Affordability is so bad that many people, even with moderate income, can't afford to live here," he said.

It may seem as if the affordable housing project is a way for Lucas to stick it to his opposition, but Tom Peters, the CEO of the Marin County Foundation disagrees. "I know Lucas and checked with him on that point personally and directly. It was essential that I was convinced that it was not done out of spite. I would not have accepted the project if I thought it was," he said.

Back in the late 1970s, when Lucas was planning Skywalker Ranch, a studio about 10 miles west of Grady Ranch, he ran into similar opposition from homeowners. Local residents "feared helicopters landing with celebrities and tour buses coming down Lucas Valley Road," said Lucasfilm in its letter. "None of their fears materialized."

The company insists that Skywalker has been an exemplary neighbor and asset to the community, preserving 5,000 acres of woods and fields, establishing an 11-mile hiking trail, restoring a pond, helping wildlife to thrive, and providing aid to the local fire and rescue squads, not to mention creating hundreds of jobs.

It's still unclear how the community will react to the housing plan for Grady Ranch. Mary Feller said she believes the community will have no objection. Peters, on the other hand, expects a fight.

We had to read this ad from CarProperty.com twice before believing it, but former "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" star Christopher Meloni is apparently trying to sweeten the deal on his $12 million midtown Manhattan apartment by offering a brand new 2013 Porsche Panamera to the buyer.

The three-bedroom apartment on the 60th floor of the Park Imperial on West 56th Street hit the market in late February, the New York Post reported at the time.

If a contract is signed by June 1, a "brand new fully loaded 2013 Porsche Panamera Hybrid will be included with purchase price," according to the listing on Prudential Douglas Elliman.

In the spirit of, er, honesty, we have to lament that Billy Joel's Miami mansion, which just hit the market for $14.75 million, is a little much. When it comes to the opulent details, our favorite six-time-Grammy-winning "Piano Man" (pictured below) has clearly pulled out all the stops. The sheer amount of marble, limestone, wrought iron -- and crystal dripping from the ceilings in chandelier form -- almost borders on excessive.

Deep Throat house

Fans went wild when the infamous "Home Alone" house hit the market, and a similar reaction arose when, years later, "The Hunger Games" town went up for sale. But we're suspecting that these same audiences won't be quite as excited at the news that the home featured in cult 1972 adult film, "Deep Throat," is the latest reel-life abode to hit the market. At least we hope not.

The eclectic $1.75 million Florida home was the setting for much of the controversial, X-rated film's infamous scenes with actress Linda Lovelace (pictured at left). The listing photos reveal that rooms like the wine cellar and doctor's "office" -- featured prominently in "Deep Throat" -- actually haven't changed too much despite renovations.

The home, which is located in the hilariously named community of Ye Little Wood in Miami's Coconut Grove neighborhood, was built and owned by Miami's "Hugh Hefner," Baron Joseph "Sepy" De Bicske Dobronyi. Even without its "Deep Throat" associations, Dobronyi made the home a celebrity haven, frequently entertaining A-list friends like Frank Sinatra and Brigitte Bardot.

"This home was legendary in the 1970s for the part it played in Miami's high life," Realtor Donna Zalter told the Coconut Grove Grapevine.

Though MSNBC suggests that the home needs "significant updates," we actually dig its unabashedly '70s-style decor (and who would want to remodel a site in cinematic history, anyway?). We're into the teak and pine decor, blindingly bright, upholstered furniture, super-low retro tables and chairs, and circular fireplace. Plus, there's a gorgeous free-form pool and spa set below lush, verdant foliage. We're into it (though the sweeping roof and coral rock, not so much).

Another day, another Hollywood facade! Today's House of the Day is a stunning mansion most famous for being Olympian Bruce Jenner and Kris Kardashian-Jenner's home, featured regularly on the hit reality show "Keeping Up With the Kardashians." (For those who don't tune in, Jenner is Kim Kardashian's stepfather, who lives with the Kardashian matriarch, Kris, and their daughters).

Except, in real life, it's not actually their house. Brian Cooley, a publicist for The Agency, tells AOL Real Estate that the E Network simply uses the Studio City, Calif., home as a stand-in for the authentic Kardashian-Jenner abode (which is actually in Calabasas). This confirms whisperings from our friends at Curbed, who've been telling us for months now that the family has just been "pretending" to live on the estate.

Apparently, they're not the first, either. The clearly telegenic home has also been featured in HBO's "True Blood." And the Hollywood connections don't even end there.

"The home is also in the very same neighborhood as George Clooney's home," Cooley reveals. "You could be neighbors with George Clooney."

Um, yes, please.

A-list (and B-list) associations aside, the home's something else. Highlights of the almost 8,000-square-foot mansion include five Bedari 24 karat gold and crystal chandeliers, sconces from the Paris Opera House and a 600-year-old fountain that was imported from financier Malcolm Forbes' estate in Florence, Italy. No wonder it was chosen as the Kardashian-Jenners' fake house!

Pro wrestling's Hulk Hogan purchased a $3.3 million house in Clearwater, Fla., just a week after selling his house in the neighboring town of Belleair. The former WWE star's new house, pictured above, is 5,412 square feet and was built in 2009.

Hogan (real name Terry Bollea) originally listed his Belleair mansion for $25 million in 2006. But after going through a bitter divorce with Linda Bollea in 2009 and the housing crash that hit Florida particularly hard, Hogan (pictured at left) eventually was able to sell the property for $6.2 million in April. His former house, a whopping 17,145 square feet, has five bedrooms, eight bathrooms, a five-car garage and multiple fireplaces. The 1.5-acre waterfront property also has a dock with two boat lifts, and a pool with a two-tier waterfall. (See some lush pictures here).

Hogan's new house is less extravagant, but still fit for a wrestling king. The five-bedroom, six-bathroom home features a media room with surround sound and a cozy wet bar, a 1,000-bottle wine cellar, and even a wood-paneled elevator for easy access to the second floor. The master suite has epic views of the Gulf, its own "morning kitchen," and a massive walk-in closet and spa-style bath. Outside, there is direct access to the beach, and a self-cleaning salt-system pool with wiring for surround sound.

After struggling for several years to unload his former manse, which was featured on the reality show "Hogan Knows Best," it seems like the Hulkster can finally relax, and quite comfortably at that.

This newly-listed, $14.9 million mansion in La Jolla, Calif., belonged to the late jockey Billy Pearson, who was credited with over 800 victories in the 1940s and '50s and was close to Hollywood heavyweights like director John Huston and dancer Gene Kelly. The perpetually star-studded home also served as a staging ground for Bing Crosby and fellow actor and singer Burl Ives.

Horseman and his Hollywood posse aside, the 10,000-square-foot home is still outstanding on its own merits. The sprawling, six-bedroom manse boasts ocean views, a home theater, a colossal wine cellar and five courtyards. Plus, it's been designated a historic site and was modeled after Italian opera house "Teatro La Fenice" by the celebrated architect Tom Sheperd.

New York City's famous for being a rich man's playground and we couldn't have found a home that takes this idea more seriously than this East Village penthouse -- with a built-in slide.

Unsurprisingly, the silver, 18-foot-tall sculptural slide pretty much smacks you in the face as soon as you walk in. Unlike other luxury features, its presence tends to dominate the penthouse (the rest of which is actually incredibly sleek, sophisticated and somewhat minimalist). But the faster you get over the initial shock of seeing a slide built inside someone's apartment, the faster you can hop right on it -- and naturally, we did. Our entire crew. Multiple times.

In case you were wondering, the owner of the now-infamous "slide penthouse" is Phil Galfond, a professional poker player who's only 26 years old! Slide aside, Galfond has also decked out his pad with some truly amazing, one-of-a-kind pieces ($35,000 glass pool table, anyone?).

We're suckers for a gorgeous home with a bit of star factor, but one that was (reportedly) the rendezvous hideaway of Marilyn Monroe and President John F. Kennedy? This one we gotta see!

Forty miles outside of Los Angeles and abutting a stunning nature preserve sits the Farralone Estate, with a glass house that was purportedly the place where Miss Monroe and JFK would tryst. Though Monroe didn't actually own the property, it was a home of her friend, Frank Sinatra, who would throw huge Hollywood-style parties at which Monroe was frequently a guest. Our friends at Curbed and Zillow have reported that Monroe would apparently entertain a "frequent presidential visitor" at the Farralone Estate's cozy guesthouse.

Whether the whispers are true or not, the home itself is pretty star-worthy by its own merits. The estate spans 13.5 acres and the stunning, glass-walled main home is an incredible 10,000 square feet. Apparently, the designers built "50 percent of the home out of glass" that has withstood the test of time.

The home's guesthouse, where Monroe allegedly stayed, is a modest 1,000 square feet, and though it only has one bedroom and 1½ bathrooms, it boasts its own pool. The rest of the sprawling property features a vineyard and equestrian trails.

So how much is a home that's supposedly fit for a president (on occasion)? Farralone Estate will run you a cool $12 million.

We've done some solid reporting on the jaw-dropping pads where rappers and pop stars chose to film their music videos, from modern-day castles to glass-walled penthouses. No doubt about it, there's something about adding a little star power to an already exceptional home that makes it that much more exciting.

So when we got the chance to check out the loft that Beyonce chose to feature in the music video for her Grammy-winning song "Halo," we jumped all over it. Ceilings 25 feet high, a roof deck and a private indoor swimming pool? Uh, yes please. Later, we discovered the structure actually had way more going for it than just luxury amenities and star-studded associations -- built in the 1890s, it had housed one of New York's very first power stations!

Say it ain't so! Our favorite "Friend" has reportedly hauled out of the Big Apple, apparently for good. That's right, Jennifer Aniston's pair of West Village condos have purportedly been sold to a "mystery buyer" for $6.5 million.

Which, if that's the case, isn't exactly great for Aniston. The "Horrible Bosses" star initially paid $7 million for the two stunning prewar condos at 299 W. 12th Street -- one on its 18th floor, and one on its 17th. They were purchased together last year amidst endless media frenzy (and confusion). Aniston had planned to combine the two spaces into a sprawling (for New York, anyway), 2,700-square-foot duplex -- which would have been amazing, really. Collectively, the condo units boasted wood-burning fireplaces, high-beamed ceilings, hardwood floors, picture moldings, views over Manhattan and a 900-square-foot terrace.

But we guess even 2,700 square feet of space wasn't enough to hold her dreams, because the actress also has apparently snagged a significantly larger (8,500-square-foot) and pricier ($21 million) love nest in Bel Air with her boyfriend, actor-director Justin Theroux. She and Theroux initially had been renting a $3 million mansion in the Hollywood Hills but have apparently decided to step it up a notch.

Jen's new pad is built on an estate that's just shy of two acres, and boasts unobstructed city and ocean views; one of L.A.'s "most beautiful terraces"; a gorgeous pool; and a vineyard.

Though the California estate's a surefire stunner, there was something understatedly charming and homey about Aniston's first New York property that seemed to be much more suited to America's favorite "girl next door" than the flashy new Bel Air McMansion. Or maybe we're just biased. You decide.

Dick Clark Flintstones Malibu House Home

Everyone knows that "America's Oldest Teenager" Dick Clark, who died Wednesday at the age of 82, liked rock. But even we didn't realize how much until we saw the listing for his hilltop Malibu retreat. The house, on 23 acres with ocean and mountain views, bears a striking resemblance to the one owned by cartoon character Fred Flintstone.

Architect Phillip Jon Brown explained that the house was built to look like a rock formation because of its proximity to the Santa Monica Mountains National Recreational Area. Brown told CNNMoney, "I came up with the idea that if the house looked like a rock formation, the park conservancy would let us build on top. They liked the concept."

Besides its cave-inspired design, which features poured concrete walls with undulating contours, the home has "unparalleled 360 degree views of the Pacific Ocean, Channel Islands, Boney Mountains, Serrano Valley, sunsets & city lights," according to the listing details. All you need is $3.5 million, and you can own a piece of rock history (and prehistory).

If you want some of Bubba Watson's golf magic to rub off on you, here's your chance, but you better have the green. The pink-driver-wielding lefty, who stunned audiences around the world by pulling off an unlikely Master's win on Sunday, is trying to offload his waterfront home in Lexington, N.C., to the tune of $1.499 million.

The house, reportedly listed in February, offers four bedrooms, five bathrooms and a slew of luxury amenities in its generous 3,386-square-foot interior -- plus an outdoor kitchen, saltwater pool, hot tub, and outdoor TV. The luxury home takes full advantage of its waterside perch on High Rock Lake, boasting jaw-dropping panoramas, and a boathouse, aluminum pier and boat storage.

TopTenRealEstateDeals.com tells us that self-taught Gerry "Bubba" Watson and his wife, Angie, currently reside in Florida with their adopted son, Caleb. Just 1 month old, the infant kept his mother at home during the weekend's competition, so she was unable to witness her husband's triumph in person.

Whether you're a raging or closet "Hunger Games" fan (and these days, quite frankly, you're either one), you'll be thrilled to know that District 12 is up for sale. Yup that's right. You too, like Katniss Everdeen, can crouch by the Mellark family bakery (pictured above), or trudge home to the Everdeen family shack after a long day in the woods. But it'll cost you a cool $1.4 million.

District 12, or the town formerly known as Henry River Mill Village near Hildebran, N.C., is owned by 83-year-old Wade Shepherd. Though it's now world-famous for being the hometown of the movie's three protagonists, Katniss, Peeta and Gale, to Shepherd (who has never read the books) it's just a parcel of land that's attracting an excessive amount of (apparently unwanted) publicity.

"I'm getting too many visitors," Shepherd told The Associated Press, of his decision to sell. "Day and night, they're driving through, taking pictures, getting out and walking. I'm just bombarded with people."

The situation has gotten so extreme that the local sheriff's department has been working with private security guards to keep the fans at bay, concerned about liability if someone gets hurt.

The post-"Hunger Games" Henry River Mill Village is a far cry from the sleepy North Carolina town it used to be before Lionsgate Entertainment descended upon it in the summer of 2011.

Surrounded by trees, the quiet mill town near the Appalachian Mountains, once the company town of the Henry River Manufacturing Co., was deserted for years. With the mill burning down in 1977, the 72-acre parcel of land only has 20 remaining buildings -- leaving it a ghost town.

Which made it prime real estate for the dystopian fantasy series. The former company store was the perfect stand-in for the Mellark family bakery, while Henry River Mill's collection of abandoned, antiquarian homes were perfect for re-creating The Seam, with the house on the far left outfitted to be the famous Everdeen home (left).

The movie's production brought in excess of $60 million into North Carolina's economy, the most of any motion picture made in the state.

No doubt to capitalize on the phenomenon, North Carolina tourism site VisitNC.com has begun to offer a four-day "Hunger Games" itinerary, which includes a tour of Henry River Mill Village.

Pulitzer Prize-winning poet Robert Lowell (pictured below left) was clearly a troubled man. His celebrated but melancholy poems, "For the Union Dead" and "To Speak of Woe That Is in Marriage," paint a picture of a lonely soul. And though we get the whole "tortured artist" thing (so chic!), what we can't understand is how anyone could be unhappy in this home.

Lowell's wonderfully bright writing atelier, located on Manhattan's Upper West Side "artist's block," seems perpetually radiant with northeastern sunlight and cinematic views over New York City's leafy, brownstone-studded West Side.

The home's beautiful, arched lobby is decorated with murals painted in 1906 by Robert V. Sewell and the space boasts soaring ceilings and large windows. It's located in a historic building built in 1905, and designed by architects Simonson, Pollard and Steinem of Hotel des Artistes fame. And it could be all yours for the modest (by New York standards, anyway) price of $685,000.

Though the apartment is small (it features just one bedroom, a sleeping loft and one bathroom), it has everything a writer could possibly need -- plus access to a stunning rooftop garden with more expansive views.
